UK Visa Guide for Pakistani Citizens

The UK is a popular destination for education and tourism. This guide covers the essentials for the Student Visa and Standard Visitor Visa.

Student Visa

To study in the UK, you need a Student Visa (formerly Tier 4). This is a points-based visa.

Key Requirements

  • CAS Number: Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies from your university. This is mandatory.
  • Financial Requirement: You must show you have enough money to pay for your course and support yourself (approx. £1,334 per month for London, £1,023 outside London). Funds must be held for 28 consecutive days.
  • TB Test: A tuberculosis test certificate from an approved clinic in Pakistan.
  • English Proficiency: IELTS for UKVI is usually required.

Standard Visitor Visa

This visa is for tourism, visiting family, or short business trips (up to 6 months).

Key Documents

  • Valid Passport: With at least one blank page.
  • Proof of Earnings: Salary slips and bank statements for the last 6 months.

Application Process
