Student Visa
To study in the UK, you need a Student Visa (formerly Tier 4). This is a points-based visa.
Key Requirements
- CAS Number: Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies from your university. This is mandatory.
- Financial Requirement: You must show you have enough money to pay for your course and support yourself (approx. £1,334 per month for London, £1,023 outside London). Funds must be held for 28 consecutive days.
- TB Test: A tuberculosis test certificate from an approved clinic in Pakistan.
- English Proficiency: IELTS for UKVI is usually required.
Standard Visitor Visa
This visa is for tourism, visiting family, or short business trips (up to 6 months).
Key Documents
- Valid Passport: With at least one blank page.
- Proof of Earnings: Salary slips and bank statements for the last 6 months.
- Accommodation: Hotel booking or an invitation letter from your host in the UK.

Application Process

- Biometrics: Book an appointment at a Visa Application Centre (e.g., Gerry's/VFS) to provide fingerprints and photo.
